HERITAGE LIFTS creates bespoke passenger and goods lifts, for use in historic and listed buildings, where standard lift solutions are not possible.

HERITAGE LIFTS are unobtrusive, integrated into the historic fabric of a building and comply with specific Listed Building requirements. Powered with Rigid-Chain Technology and class-leading control systems, the lift-car arrives at each landing with millimetre-accuracy, for easy entry and exit. HERITAGE LIFTS are built from premium-quality, long-life and low-maintenance components.

Bespoke glass home lift

This remarkable home lift, was designed for a disabled client, for use in their Grade 1 listed house. It replaced a smaller unused dumb-waiter, which had fallen into dangerous disrepair.

Both lift shaft and lift-car are manufactured from 20.5mm toughened laminated glass and are supported structurally with brushed stainless steel framework.

Whisper-quiet Rigid-Chain drives and precision control technology ensures that the lift-car arrives at each landing with millimetre-accuracy, allowing easy entry and exit.

This home lift has enabled the client, providing effortless access to their wheelchair-adapted vehicle, and all areas of their home, transforming their independence, following a life changing accident.
